Evergreen Everzyme EQ
The Ultimate Systemic Enzyme for Horses
Evergreen Everzyme EQ is formulated with one of the ultimate patented systemic enzymes available for horses today, Exclzyme Equine. This formula is a multi enzyme blend of non animal source enzymes containing a combination of proteases as well as other enzymes to facilitate movement as well as tissue and muscle healing. A special blend of fungal Protease, bromelain and papain are combined with Peptizyme SP, a powerful peptidase derived from Serratia spp T1. This peptidase enzyme is used worldwide for its inflammatory properties. The formula also contains doses of amylase and lipase as well as a natural gooseberry called Amla. This unique berry provides synergistic support to the enzyme blend. Evergreen Everzyme EQ also contains Rutin, an important bioflavonoid that helps repair damaged tissue. This is an exceptional natural choice for horses suffering from arthritis, joint pain, inflammation and wound healing. Evergreen Everzyme EQ is very effective for an active athletic horse to ensure a prompt recovery from soreness and inflammation due to stress and over activity. Evergreen Everzyme EQ with Exclzyme EQ has been clinically tested on 6 race horses. Click for results of Lameness Trial. Clinically Proven Natural, Anti-Inflammatory and Pain Reduction. With no side effects like NSAIDS that can lead to gastrointestinal disorders, such as ulcers and upset stomach. The use of systemic enzymes as an alternative has the same results without all the side effects.
What are Enzymes? Enzymes are bio-catalysts or assistants; they either begin a reaction or cause an action to speed up. They are the “Life energy” of all organisms. They are an essential component of life for humans, animals and plants. All vitamins, minerals and hormones must have enzymes to work properly. Life cannot exist without enzymes. Every gene’s program is associated with the actions of enzymes. Enzymes are responsible for the functions of every organ. A weakened immune system has a diminished volume of enzymes which includes those that are defective or worn out. Enzymes have a limited life and must be replaced regularly.
Why Systemic Enzymes? First of all Systemic Enzymes should not be confused with digestive enzymes. Certain Enzymes are the first line of defense against inflammation. Inflammation is a reaction by the immune system to an irritation. Where ever in the body; be it a joint, muscle, gland or organ, if there is a problem the first thing that happens is inflammation. After inflammation comes the fibrotic tissue which is laid down on the injured tissue or part of the body. Specific Systemic Enzymes like Nattokinase, serrapeptase and proteases are classified as fibrinolytic (fibrin lysing) and proteolytic (protein digesting) enzymes. Each enzyme is unique in the way it catalyzes proteins. Combining these enzymes creates a synergistic approach to reducing excessive fibrotic tissue, which is also called scar tissue. If we replace the lost enzymes, we can reduce and eliminate the amount of scar tissue the body accumulates.
Research has shown there is a correlation between disease, excessive fibrin and inflammation (pain).
Peptizyme SP, also known as Serratiopeptidase, is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the nonpathogenic enterobacteria Serratia T-1. Clinical studies show that Peptizyme SP induces fibrinolytic, anti-inflamatory and anti-edemic (prevents swelling and fluid retention) in a number of tissues, and its anti-inflamatory effects are superior to other proteolytic enzymes. Peptizyme SP not only reduces inflammation, it’s most profound benefits is reduction in pain, this is due to its ability to block the release of pain-inducing amines from inflamed tiisues.
What is Pain and Inflammation? Inflammation is a response to the immune system in response to an irritant. Example; If you sprain an ankle, the immune system creates a protein called Circulating Immune Complex (CIC). The CIC travels down to the injured ankle and causes pain and swelling. The pain you feel is to inform you of an injury or damage. The swelling is protective as it prevents you from moving and causing more irritation.
What normally happens is the body produces proteolytic enzymes which counteracts the inflammation and things return to normal. The problem is the production of the enzymes. The food chain today is extremely compromised. Therefore supplementing with these enzymes is needed. If inflammation is not controlled and the body continues fight the battle, symptoms of chronic inflammation only get worse.
Most inflammation is treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). While NSAIDS may work for some they often come with serious side effects. If the main problem is the decrease in proteolytic enzymes, why not focus on replenishing them. Enzymes are the main line of defense against inflammation.
Enzymes are not anti-inflammatory drugs but rather reduce inflammation by neutralizing the bio chemicals of inflammation to levels where repair and regeneration of injured tissues can take place. NSAIDS give temporary relief but do not fix the underlying cause of the problem, Systemic enzymes work to reduce the inflammation and promote healing without any side effects. Systemic enzymes also;
*Break Down Scar Tissue (Fibrin) *Assimilate and Eliminate Toxins *Cleanse the Blood * Increase the surface area of the red blood cell… *Maintain Healthy Immune System making it possible to carry more oxygen to all parts *Fight and Kill Viruses of the body. *Reduce Bacteria
Olympic Athletes use Enzymes. Injury is a common problem with all those that are athletic-especially professionals and Olympians. Sports medicine doctors know they can’t prevent injuries, so they look for methods to heal players as quickly as possible. Those taking systemic enzymes three days in advance of the events healed 50% quicker. Daily supplementation helps athletes to lessen the effects of potential injury.
Why not use Evergreen Everzyme EQ to help your horse with basically the main line of defense against inflammation, systemic enzyme therapy.
Stiffness and Arthritis: Horses indeed experience stiffness in the legs and joints especially after activity and years of wear and tear. Bromelain in Evergreen Everzyme EQ acts on harmful prostaglandins that cause pain and impede the uptake of rebuilding compounds through tissues.
How do you feed Evergreen Everzyme EQ? Dosage is easy. For maintenance levels of optimum health and lowered inflammation, just one teaspoon top dressed on feed 2-3 times per day. With chronic inflammation, lameness and pain one tablespoon 2-3 times per day.
